Our client is a fast-growing, highly profitable medium-sized company headquartered in Germany. It is the market leader in its niche.

THE POSITION

  • Will be newly created. The function is currently filled by the Managing Director.
  • Is gradually being prepared to take over as Managing Director in around four years' time.
  • Requires a willingness to travel of at least 50%.

THE MAIN TASKS

  • Responsible for € 7 million turnover in BeNeLux.
  • Develops the market strategically by independently acquiring direct customers and key accounts.
  • Looks after various stakeholders: Architects, purchasers, experts, safety officers, property fitters.
  • Structured use of the CRM system to ensure real-time synchronisation with the office team.

THE IDEAL EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENT PROFILE

  • There is a high affinity for being in the spotlight on stage and enthusiastically presenting the company and product philosophy with USP to decision-makers of all kinds.
  • Five years of experience in sales of complex capital goods requiring explanation with premium positioning and quality leadership
  • Experience in the contract equipment sector with a focus on laboratories, occupational medicine and safety is advantageous. Feels comfortable both in the recycling centre and in the operating theatre anteroom.
  • Has both hunter and farmer skills as a salesperson: can work both operationally with customers and strategically in the market.
  • Closing reliability
